Mexico. An initiative for the integration of the security sector that was raised 10 years ago before the Mexican Ministry of Economy, is today close to reality.Salvador Gómez, president of the Latin American Security Association (ALAS), Mexico chapter, explained that the creation of the National Chamber of the Security Industry seeks the representativeness of all disciplines in the sector, physical, electronics, computer science, among others. "This chamber will also allow the defense of the interests of all security entities as a basic economic sector," he said.
In this work, Anainse, National Association of the Security Industry and ALAS Mexico have worked together with associations in the field such as Foro de Seguridad, Sociedad Mexicana de Guardespaldas, Amesis, CNSP - Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Privada, Corporación Euroamericana de Seguridad, and other entities. However, they require the support and collaboration of all security companies in Mexico to carry out this project and achieve a rapprochement with the authorities and the Legislative Branch so that the regulation and standardization that the sector requires is established.
