United States. For four days, from October 12 to 15, 2010, security professionals from around the world, including managers, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors, among others, will be at the 56th version of the annual ASIS International seminar and exhibition. This year ASIS 2010 attendees will be able to choose from more than 160 educational sessions that deal with current security issues and critical issues to train in their professional work. According to Joseph R. (Bob) Granger, CPP, President of ASIS International, this event is the best place for professionals to get to know each other, share information and knowledge, and discover how other colleagues have solved the challenges presented by the environment today.
ASIS has partnered with leading professional organizations that specialize in various aspects of security to support and expand this year's educational offering. ISACA, IT-ISAC and (ISC)2 will contribute their technical expertise in information security, and the International Facility Management Association and the International Association of Professional Security Consultants are also offering programs.
Likewise, CSO Roundtable, a dedicated forum for senior security professionals, has developed a series of sessions specifically aimed at the needs of security chiefs and their main collaborators. Topics include up-to-date information on enterprise security risk management and conducting international due diligence.
