Wireless video surveillance solutions have been the result of the combination of Fluidmesh's wireless pltaformas with some of Pelco's video products.Fluidmesh's point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and mesh platforms offer high-resolution video streaming which allows Pelco to provide a variety of wireless networking solutions to its common customers, as mentioned by Terry Carver, Pelco's business development manager.
These three solutions have been designed for security, video surveillance and mission-critical applications, can be used flexibly and are compatible with Pelco analog and IP cameras and servers. Fluidmesh technology provides multicast support, significantly reducing the bandwidth required by each camera and facilitating integration with Pelco's Endura, Sarix and IP cameras.
This new partnership has already been tested at a surveillance facility at the Birmingham Police Department. A Fluidmesh 2200 mesh runs the system and the police station can monitor and control all of Pelco's PTZ cameras in real time from the control room. (Pictured: IXE20 Sarix series camera).
