Mexico. In order to protect and prevent criminal acts in schools in Jalisco, Bolide has installed video surveillance cameras in 72 schools, as part of the Safe School program, which seeks to create healthy environments for young people.
The cameras are placed in the high-risk areas previously established by Escuela Segura. This electronic surveillance project consists of the installation of 4 or 8 color cameras, high definition, for interiors and exteriors located in strategic areas of the institution.
A digital video recorder (4 or 8 channels), which manages video surveillance equipment, connects to the Internet so that it can be monitored and managed by a client, with a web browser, or through a cell phone. Also this recording equipment can be configured with image qualities, frames per second, online users, input and output alarms, etc. This solution allows new equipment to be attached to the system in the future.
The members of Escuela Segura hope that this electronic security solution will help to further reduce crimes in institutions as has already been happening.
