Bosch launches new fire alarm center on the market

Latin America. The German firm announced that it is a new addressable analog unit that meets all the requirements of the most recent editions of the UL regulations.

It also introduces an innovative web server and a set of web pages built into the equipment, which provide instant means of communication to access the system. According to the company, this will reduce costs by allowing monitoring of the FPA-1000 from a security or maintenance office without the need for software or hardware. Due to its Conettix IP technology from the same firm, the FPA-1000 plant can also communicate over local or extended area networks for faster alarm reporting.

The new plant has two integrated NAC circuits of 2.5 Amp. each, which support a maximum of 4 Amps. of total current and includes up to two Signaling Line Circuits configurable as two Class B, Style 4 or one Class A, Style 6 or 7. It also has up to two ties. Each loop supports: 127 detectors or modules, and up to 127 bases with analog sirens in combination with a detector, three C-Format relays on the main board and up to 2 plates of 8 relays each.

Additionally, up to 127 relays can be installed in remote modules and address and sub-address management that reaches up to 400 per loop. Four Independent NAC Boosters generate auxiliary power for up to 16 programmable and synchronized NAC circuits according to UL864 9th edition.
