Denmark. Milestone published on its official site that the video surveillance system it installed at Hojstrup Housing Association in the city of Vollsmose, Denmark, has served for that European region to reduce the percentage of vandalism costs by 36%.Atea (formerly TopNordic), a partner of Mileston, won the competition bid against five other companies, to implement the new video surveillance solution in Hojstrup Housing Association. Today, there are 120 cameras that are managed with Milestone's XProtec system. The solution is a network-based system, which means that multiple users can access it simultaneously from different locations.
Since the residents of that Danish place requested to increase security, this has meant a reduction in episodes of vandalism, and in significant savings in operational costs that can now be used for other initiatives.
