United States. Mace Security International, Inc, announced the acquisition of Central Station Security Systems, Inc, a wholesale monitoring company. This acquisition will be part of a new division called Mace Security Services. The price of the negotiation was approximately US$3.6 million.Mace hired Peter P. Giacalone as president of the new division. The entrepreneur has 30 years of experience within the security industry, and is currently the president of the Central Station Alarm Association's Audio Verification Standards Committee and the Security Industry Association's Two Way Audio Verification Standards Committee. He has also held other management positions in other companies.
