A partnership between G4S Denmark and Milestone Systems will bring XProtect® IP video management software to the Danish market, and will allow more than 80,000 customers of the Danish firm to upgrade their analog systems. The agreement follows those made between the two firms in Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
Milestone's IP-based solution can use megapixel cameras to improve image quality, while video manager software is an open platform capable of integrating other devices. G4S Denmark's sourcing manager commented that this alliance allows them to increase their market share in a growing industry, and keeps their technical team at the forefront of IP solutions. According to IMS Research, sales of such software are estimated to exceed $480 million in 2010.
