HID Global reinforces its strategy in the region

altLatin America. With the aim of strengthening the relationship with the channels, helping them in the acquisition of new customers and developing new businesses with the current ones, HID Global announced new strategic hires for Mexico and the Andean Region.

The company's goal is to maintain growth in these regions, consolidating its presence in vertical markets and strengthening relationships with local customers and partners.

With corporate offices in Mexico, HID Global has been growing with projects in this region, but noticed significant growth in recent years in projects that required strategic hiring to achieve its business objectives. For Humberto De la Vega, vice president of sales for Latin America and the Caribbean at HID Global, the hires represent having a team ready to face new projects and, at the same time, support its customers and partners.

"These regions, in addition to presenting significant growth in the number of projects, have an exponential market for HID Global," said De la Vega. "Today there are more and more great opportunities in the security industry, as well as a significant increase in infrastructure investments," he added.

Gilberto Corona has worked for companies such as Visual Tools, March Networks Corporation, Diebold, SensorTec and Sensormatic Electronics. In this role, Gilberto Corona will be focused on strengthening the relationship with the integrators of the Physical Access Control segment with which HID Global works in Mexico.

In the same way, the company hired Hugo Treviño as regional sales manager responsible for the FARGO® and AsureID® product lines for card printing and personalization. Hugo Treviño has extensive experience in the Secure Issuance of Credentials segment with direct printing and thermal retransfer printers. Hugo Treviño having worked for companies of the turn such as Latin ID, UNB Group, BICSA as well as NextCard.

"HID Global seeks to have greater market penetration and greater coverage with customers in Mexico. Through a strategy of growth of the local market we are investing in human capital as well as an adequate segmentation of the business with which we will be able to offer a better service to our clients by having specialized local personnel, "said Alejandro Espinosa, senior sales manager of the Identity and Access Management area for HID Global.

To strengthen its presence in Central America, HID hired Regina Florian as regional sales manager for that territory, for the Identity and Access Management division or IAM for its acronym in English. Regina brings great experience in the identification industry and previously worked in companies dedicated to the distribution of Identification products throughout the territory of Latin America.

Hid Global also announced the hiring of Nawel Javier Vargas as regional sales manager for the Andean Region. Nawel Vargas is a mechatronics engineer and specialist in electronic commerce and after having worked at SAC Seguridad, wholesale distributor of electronic security solutions in Colombia, he has six years of experience as an engineer and product manager in Access Control Solutions, CCTV and Fire and Intrusion Control Systems.

"The strategy is to differentiate HID Global in Latin America in each of the potential markets," said Tatiana Bolívar, sales director for Latin America in HID Global's Identity and Access Management division. "For example, the Andean Region and Central America are areas of great growth, led by the investments made by Colombia in security or Panama in the construction industry. With these hires, HID Global confirms its interest and commitment to providing quick answers and solutions to our customers, partners and integrators."

"The growth in the region justifies the investments in human talent that we are making globally," continued Tatiana Bolívar. "HID Global is in an optimal position and has great growth prospects, as well as new business opportunities, such as being able to provide solutions to protect the information and assets of companies. The security sector has grown, it is an industry that has awakened, it is a much more mature market and we have excellent expectations. HID Global is an innovative company. This is what we bring to the market as a differentiator, a range of cutting-edge products that we will be consolidating more and more", he concluded.
