Alberto Muñoz arrives at Hanwha Techwin Latin America

Latin America. Hanwha Techwin Latin America recently announced the appointment of a new professional in its team for Latin America. This is the computer engineer Alberto Muñoz.

Muñoz, a graduate of the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado in Venezuela, has more than ten years of experience in the computer security industry, perimeter security and electronic security.

During one of his most enriching experiences in the Organization Policlínica San Javier del Arca, in Barquisimento, Venezuela, Alberto was in charge of different tasks that allowed him to form an ideal integral profile for the video surveillance market in Latin America. Among other actions, he assumed the leadership of projects of design and implementation of network and CCTV solutions, and advanced to lead the IT area and coordinate the Technical Support department.

"I participated in a project that I consider important. The institution had an alliance with the academy for the design of eLearning services at graduate levels. The initiative, called the Center for Teaching and Research of Ultrasound in Medicine (CEIUM), conceived the design of a telemedicine network and a platform to teach distance courses, share content, send information and participate, "says Muñoz.

The new member of the Hanwha Techwin Latin America team has focused much of his experience and study on the design of CCTV networks and their integration with IP platforms, and comes to the company as an application engineer with the aim of working on the development of new solutions and integration proposals.

"This new position makes it easier for me to be in permanent contact with the new technology that is something I like very much. I am interested in not losing the harmony with innovation to enrich my work day by day implementing different solutions, systems and equipment. Thus being on par with technological advancement and trends in the security industry," explains Alberto Muñoz.

For the engineer, the future of video surveillance in Latin America in relation to technological development is clear: The region is migrating towards more interconnected solutions. While analog systems are still maintained and developed, the shift towards IP environments and solutions is becoming increasingly evident.

"Today, in a world where we are all so interconnected, it would be illogical to talk about isolated systems. In the case of video surveillance solutions, to be functional in today's environments, these must be integrated with other systems such as fire detection, door release, alarms, integrations between CCTV, etc. In addition, we must be well prepared for the integration of the world of video surveillance to the IP world, I think it is a step that we must all take, "says Alberto Muñoz.
