Latin America. Axis Communications announces the addition of Camila Escobar to its team in the role of Inside Sales for the Northern Cone. From its offices located in the Colombian capital it will be serving the markets of Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia.
Camila will strengthen contact with 1,400 integrating partners operating in those countries, while Diana Ardila, account manager of the Andean region, will continue to manage the accounts that are already under her supervision.
"The reinforcement in the team responsible for the contact with our resales is important to maintain a close relationship with our network and offer immediate, proactive attention that responds directly to the need of our channels, including training and continuous dialogue throughout the year for technological updates," explains Marcelo Ponte, Marketing and Distribution Manager of Axis.
With her experience in customer service, sales, international business and business administration, Camila Escobar aims to become one of the key players to boost the video surveillance market in that region in the coming years.
After living in Canada for 12 years and ending up being part of the Axis team in that country as an Account Executive, this International Trade and Global Development professional from Niagara College has decided to return to Colombia from where she aims to strengthen the Northern Cone market and relations with the brand's integrators.
"One of my main goals is to focus on increasing communication and direct relationship with the different integrators. The idea is to make the market grow and diversify, not only commercially but also in training, through the training we provide," says the executive.
One of the main proposals to intensify the relationship with integrators is the launch of a series of online and open webinars on growth opportunities for the market.
