Latin America. The hiring of Douglas Macias and Sabrina Ramirez continues the growth of video surveillance sales capabilities in 2016 for the region.
IDIS has announced the hiring of Douglas Macias as the new Regional Sales Director of IDIS America, as well as the addition of Sabrina Ramirez as IDIS Americas' Sales Operations Specialist.
Macías has more than ten years of experience in video surveillance sales, business project management and business development. He brings with him a background of relationship building and project management across multiple key surveillance verticals, including a variety of successful facilities in the banking, healthcare, transportation, education and government sectors.
Macias will represent and manage all IDIS accounts in the southeastern region of the United States and will be based in Weston, Florida.
The latest addition to IDIS America's expanding sales team, Ramirez has a broad and well-formed background with experience in account management, customer relations, sales coordination and quality control.
As IDIS America's sales operations specialist, Ramirez will provide direct support to the entire IDIS America sales team, manage relationships with integrators and end users, follow up and coordinate support to IDIS regional sales managers across the country. She will be based at IDIS America's headquarters in Coppell, Texas.
Both Macias and Ramirez join a sales team led by Senior Director Keith Drummond, who noted, "2016 has been a productive first full year of operations for IDIS America, reflected in the continued growth and evolution of our sales and support team since our launch in 2015 during ISC West in Las Vegas.
