International. Hanwha Techwin Europe has appointed Christopher Whitting as Business Development Manager for its Smart Security Manager (SSM) Enterprise software platform.
During the twenty years that Christopher has worked in sales for the electronic security sector, he has been a founding partner of CNL, sales director for the United Kingdom of Bosch, Business Development Manager for Sony and, most recently, Country Manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland at Milestone.
"SSM Enterprise fulfills Hanwha Techwin's ambition to become a comprehensive provider of video surveillance solutions. I look forward to putting my knowledge into ip networking platforms and integrated solutions to showcase the capabilities of this powerful and versatile video management software," said Christopher.

Facilitating integration
SSM Enterprise is designed to maximize the efficiency of IP cameras, Wisenet recording devices and servers as well as to facilitate integration with third-party systems (access control and intrusion systems).
In addition to being a powerful tool to deter and detect possible criminal activity, it is compatible with specialized video analysis applications that run on WiseNet Open Platform cameras. In retail environments, for example, it allows you to simultaneously visualize people count, heat maps and cashier data (POS).
