Latin America. Sergio Mazzoni came to the sales direction of Identity Assurance of HID Global after a long journey through different areas in the company. In 2003 he entered the customer service area, went through the Technical Support division for Latin America, continued as Operations Manager in Latin America and then, in 2006, he was part of the Latin American sales division as Regional Sales Manager for the southern cone, to finally serve as Senior Sales Manager in the southern cone and the Andean region.
"The main challenge we have at HID Global with the Identity Assurance division is to provide greater continuity to this business unit. We already have a recognition among our customers in the region and the intention is to continue offering quality services," says Mazzoni.
His arrival in this division also marks a new starting point for HID Global in Latin America, to talk to its customers about the need to have secure transactions and strong authentications in a hyperconnected world.
Sergio Mazzoni is an electronic engineer from the National Technological University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management from the University of Belgrano and in Development Management from the Austral University.
His experience with the customer service area gives added value to his new functions for the region because he knows the experience and needs of the user. That allows you to draw up a roadmap aimed at collaborative work.
For Sergio Mazzoni, the task of HID Global today is to publicize what are the best practices of business security, ranging from authentication solutions, cloud authentication, authentication servers, to digital signature in financial systems, for example.
The premise that governs today's world is connectivity and convenience. Being able to have connectivity, allows convenience, access services and use them from wherever a person is. But that premise must be reinforced with security and trust.
According to Mazzoni "Trust is above security as a company that requires updating or creating authentication systems needs to trust its provider. That is why today we are looking for companies in Latin America to consider investment in security as a necessity."
Hid Global's new Identity Assurance sales director for Latin America, Sergio Mazzoni, has also been a participant in projects such as the creation of Paraguay's national identity document and access control platform for YPF Argentina, Techint and Siderar, and an alternate member of the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Security. This background added to its performance in different areas of HID Global, allow it "to have a much broader vision of the market because HID is a company with very great potential and we are a benchmark in the segments in which we are currently.
