Latin America. International Security & Trading Corp., a leader in the distribution of comprehensive security solutions, announces the appointment of its new Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, William Prieto.
Prieto is a Naval Engineer specialized in propulsion, structures and Mechanical Engineering, graduated from the Almirante Padilla Naval School.
With more than 20 years of experience, he comes to ISTC after a long career in the security industry, starting in the Defense sector where he handled radar and missile systems technology; later he worked in a major integration company to finally move to Bosch Security Systems and assume responsibility for the regional management for northern Latin America.
He has also held positions in operations, logistics and commercial management in companies in the Telecommunications, Technology, Energy and Oil sectors; and has developed technical and commercial advice and consulting for large companies with operations in the Caribbean, Central America and Venezuela.

In his new position, Prieto will be in charge of developing and implementing a new strategy of expansion, growth and consolidation of ISTC in Latin America and the Caribbean, the achievement of new approaches and commercial alliances, and business models; with a strong focus on security solutions and engineering projects as well as the implementation of new proposals that aim at generating demand in the most important verticals.
