Latin America. Samsung Techwin announced the appointment of Ray Prieto as the new Chief Sales Officer for Latin America at its headquarters in Miami. With over 15 years of experience in the international security industry, Prieto most recently worked at Pivot 3 where he served as Vice President of Sales for Latin America and the Caribbean.
He has also held executive positions for companies such as 3VR and Innovonics, always in positions related to latin American markets. Ray Prieto will be responsible for consolidating all sales operations in the region, including local offices in Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Central America, reporting directly to Pedro Duarte, Vice President of Samsung Techwin Latin America.
In his role, Ray will oversee relationships with channel partners, including distributors and system integrators, and will also coordinate local resources for major projects in the various vertical markets across the region.
When asked about this new challenge in his career, Mr. Prieto commented: "I am very happy to be here. Samsung Techwin products are excellent in terms of quality and technological innovation. In addition, while our business model transcends the traditional boundaries of the security industry and expands towards the end user, the strength of our brand plays a key role in how our business develops for the future.
