Latin America. Samsung Techwin America, a leading global provider of video surveillance and security products, announced the appointment of its new Director of Application Engineering, Yoel Rodriguez.
Yoel, is an experienced professional in the security industry and has extensive experience in the field of architecture, design and implementation of security solutions and systems, among other practices.
Rodríguez will serve in this new position since January of this year and will be in charge of the management of the regional technical team, the specialized technical management of projects, the technical support team and the service centers.
"The appointment of Yoel, who is already part of our team, allows Samsung to continue the leadership and recognition that our Application Engineering program has in the region and to ensure that we will maintain our high standards of service," said Pedro Duarte, Vice President of Samsung Techwin Latin America.
As a prelude to his appointment to this position, Yoel Rodríguez served for more than 15 years in the field of integrated solutions for technology in major companies, such as Sony Electronics, GE Security (later known as UTC) and IBM/Hitachi Global Storage Technologies.
