Latin America. Tyco Security Products, a company that provides solutions in video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection, recently announced the appointment of Claudius Bezerra as product marketing manager for Latin America.
Bezerra brings to Tyco Security Products a deep knowledge of the security industry in Latin America and a solid experience in IT, acquired during more than 10 years of work in the fields of IT and security. During this time, Bezerra has held various positions and functions (field engineer, commercial engineer, product and marketing manager), and has been directly linked to security products in Latin America. It has also cooperated in the region with various distribution channels, system integrators and security associations.
In his new role, Bezerra will support and educate customers on Tyco Security Products' unified solutions offering, enhance the company's diverse distribution channels and increase system integrators' knowledge of Tyco Security Solutions through a certification program to be announced soon.
"Claudius will be charged with expanding the technical training program throughout the region for American Dynamics, Kantech, Software House and DSC. He will also be responsible for strengthening the connection between end users, integrators, marketers and distributors in Latin America and Tyco Security Products' product development team throughout the region," said Warren Brown, vice president of product management for Tyco Security Products. "This is a new position and proof of the growing investment we are making in the region and the growing importance of Latin America for Tyco Security Products."
Bezerra, originally from Brazil, worked as Sony's product marketing manager for Latin America. He is a member of the board of directors of ALAS, the Latin American Security Association, and actively collaborates in different projects within the organization.
