Minchaca arrives at schneider Mexico's Business Unit

altMexico. Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and a leader in energy efficiency, announced the appointment of Gerardo Minchaca, who had been serving as the organization's Vice President of Solutions and Services, as the new Vice President of Schneider Electric's Buildings Business Unit for Mexico.

The goal in this new role for Minchaca will be to help companies maximize the performance and safety of their buildings in a sustainable way through smart and innovative solutions of business scope.

"I am extremely happy with this new role that I have to play within Schneider Electric. Our energy management solutions, combined with proper building design and safety infrastructure, actually improve building operation and reduce energy consumption by up to 50 kWh/m2 per year. These savings can be achieved today, and it is my job to raise awareness in the Mexican market about its benefits which not only impact the economic field but also the ecological and social aspect," said Gerardo Minchaca during his appointment.

With more than 22 years of experience within the organization and extensive experience in the energy market, the engineer Minchaca comes to promote the concept of Green Buildings and Integral Security to the Mexican market. Under the Green Buildings concept, Minchaca will be responsible for boosting Schneider Electric's capabilities and comprehensive portfolio of products, solutions and services primarily, but not exclusively to, the hospitality, health sciences, offices, hospitals, retail and education segments.
