Manuel Salas to lead eConnect operation in Latin America

Colombia. The company eConnect, Inc. began operations in Latin America, having as its main headquarters the city of Bogotá, Colombia, and Manuel Salas Naranjo at the head of the management of all aspects of operation in this region.


"We are very happy to open operations in Latin America since the demand of our partners and customers has been very high," said Henry Valentino, CEO of eConnect, who also said that "with the arrival of our products in the region, we simply help operators optimize their profits and give them the peace of mind of knowing that their business is safe."

The new director of eConnect, Manuel Salas Naranjo, has worked in electronic security and surveillance for more than ten years, gaining a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable people in the installation of security equipment to prevent losses and corporate fraud.

Prior to eConnect, Manuel Salas managed sales in the Andean Region territories in Latin America for Schneider Electric/Pelco, one of the largest and most representative security companies in the world. Manuel has more than 35 years of experience in cutting-edge technologies and is an engineer graduated from the University of Los Andes, in Colombia.

"We have been looking for the right person to manage the new office in Latin America and Manuel has the right profile, his capacity and reputation are unparalleled," said Guido Arias, chief financial officer of eConnect, Inc., who added "we are going to open another office in Asia in 2012, this is a big step in the direction of our company to emerge as a world leader."
