. As part of its strategy to strengthen ties with the American market, Samsung Techwin announced the appointment of Soon Hong Ahn (pictured) as the new president for the Americas.
The company, which has offices in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Miami, considered that Hong Ahn's work as global VP of sales and marketing in the security solutions division in Korea, made him the ideal candidate to face the challenges of consolidating and growing throughout the region.
"Soon Hong Ahn's experience in other sectors of the company will provide a critical idea in the face of special situations focused on the needs of the market in the area," the company said in a statement.
And he added that "its work focused only on the continent is a confirmation of the commitment that the company has to get closer to American clients and offer them all the necessary tools for an excellent functioning of all negotiation processes in the market."
