Mexico. Scientists from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute -Cinvestav- in Tamaulipas developed software that would allow controlling the security systems of a house, the turning off of lights and even the closing of the gas supply keys from the cell phone, iPod or computer.Gregorio Toscano Pulido, researcher at Cinvestav, explains that the program fulfills simple tasks for a person, but complex for a technological system, in addition to having the flexibility and reliability to integrate and configure easily with automation systems of different companies, being able to access from anywhere and with the advantage of being able to observe the environment and interiors through CCTV systems, as well as monitoring the status of alarm and security systems.
The program was created at the request of a company that is dedicated to the construction of automated houses and is currently in a state of evaluation to verify its compatibility and identify the minimum hardware requirements for its correct operation and subsequently begin with its distribution.
