In order to exercise rigorous control over officials of the Bolivian National Customs, ANB, and to support the fight against smuggling, security cameras were installed in free zones throughout the country.According to the president of the ANB, Marlene Ardaya, these protection teams will help the Institution in the surveillance of the evaluators in order to end corruption within it.
In addition to the cameras, Ardaya said that Customs is studying the possibility of implementing an asset tracking system to control the movement of trucks that transport goods at Bolivia's borders.
