The five award categories include: Best Manufacturer, Best Distribution Company, Best Integrating Company, Best Surveillance Company and Best Social Responsibility Initiative - Mission 500 Award.
The vote will be made on the website of Expo Seguridad México: www.exposeguridadmexico.com and through an email that will be sent to the database of all people who have attended past editions of the fair or who plan to attend Expo Seguridad 2009.
Some of the criteria for selecting the winner will be (depending on the category):
• Dedicates extensive resources to the Mexican market (best manufacturer)
• Provides a high level of service to customers in Mexico (distributors and integrators)
• Contributes to the development of the Mexican market and has certification courses for its clients in Mexico
• Offers products according to the needs of the Mexican market
• Invests in the development of its staff and in the education of its clients
Each category and prize winner will receive:
•A trophy
• Editorial coverage in The Magazine Ventas de Seguridad, in the electronic magazine of ALAS and in other media of the industry
•Recognition in a special announcement in the directory of Expo Seguridad Mexico 2009
•Recognition in gala cocktail during Expo Seguridad Mexico 2009

Rules of participation
•Registration for the Excelencia México awards has no cost.
•You can vote for all those companies that have offices or operations in Mexico (both national and multinational companies).
•You can vote for a company in more than one category.
•Votes will not be accepted for companies that are cast by people or employees who work or have a link with this same company.
•Votes cast must clearly identify the company name, email and phone number.
•Only one vote per person will be accepted.
Voting closes on March 31, 2009. The award ceremony will be held during the seventh edition of Expo Seguridad 2009, at the Banamex Center from April 21-23.
