Despite the fluctuations of the economy in Latin America, the security market in Argentina and other countries in the region has remained stable, which is because it is a business need in which you can not lower your guard. Precisely SECURITY SALES had the opportunity to talk with some representatives of companies that were part of Seguriexpo BISEC Buenos Aires 2008, about the Argentine market and current trends in the industry.
Among the companies consulted are Pelco, Rightkey, Bosh, Intelektron and Softguard, with them they talked about IP technology and security training processes. The president of Softguard, Daniel Banda, expressed in a short but categorical way, his opinion regarding IP technology: "IP is the future and the present", although he made it clear that at least in Argentina the number of users who have this technology compared to those who use radio or telephony is from 1 to 100, although he said that the IP has been having an "accelerated and sustained growth".
However, this accelerated growth of IP technology requires that both manufacturers and distributors offer a correct orientation to users so that together it is determined what type of equipment and technologies are required by the needs. In this regard, Augusto Devesa, Pelco's representative in Argentina, was very clear, adding that "ip is definitely fashionable."
