The Latin American regional is not living its best days, since 2016 has been a year in which there has been a fluctuating behavior in economic matters. It is also clear that some countries live opposite realities.
The moment that Brazil is going through is not the best, especially with all its slowdown, tariff issues and prices, but we must bear in mind that Brazil is still a country with a lot of potential; with a large deficit, but it remains in force in the economy.
Mexico and Colombia, together with other countries of the Andean and Central American Area, have been facing a particular situation, they do not have the best numbers as a few years ago, but they do live a special dynamic that makes them a focus of development, bringing together the largest business movement in Latin America.
But in this look at the region, without a doubt you have to take into account the price of the dollar and oil. The strengthening of the dollar was largely due to the fall in crude oil prices and that is where the difference of what was this year compared to previous years is evident, because it is a cyclical issue that will surely have to be overcome with the passing of the days.
What is undecidable is that the electronic security industry today is not the same as a few years ago, Asian actors, especially Chinese manufacturers, have managed to gain ground and have accommodated their artillery to reach the region, other protagonists with tradition, therefore, have had to readjust their strategy to compete with them and, at the same time, not to lose hegemony. In this section, quality, support and technological innovation play a preponderant role.
