The positive economic situation experienced by countries such as Chile, Peru and Colombia, to mention just three specific cases, the income that tourists will bring to Brazil and neighboring countries for the World Cup and the 2016 Olympics; the possibility of continuing to grow steadily for the next five years and even the eventuality that markets such as Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay manage to mark unexpected businesses make up some of the reasons why we can say that our region is more attractive than ever for investors and that 2014 is a promising year.
This panorama, at the same time, allows us to foresee a productive future for the electronic security industry, which increasingly knows how to take advantage of these special junctures to consolidate itself as a profitable business with many possibilities to continue growing in Latin America.
Precisely this fruitful moment has changed the vision of many companies about the region. According to information presented by the Getulio Vargas Foundation, the business climate in Latin America rose in January 2014 to the best level since April last year. The conclusion came from the Economic Climate Index (ECI) for Latin America, a measurement that is made in conjunction with the Institute for Economic Studies (IFO) of the University of Munich after making quarterly consultations with 141 specialists from 18 countries.
This previous point is clearly reflected in our industry that increasingly has the presence of offices and representation of leading companies in the sector. And this has been thanks to the fact that the projects in the different business foci have grown and, at the same time, in the verticalization of their offers and / or portfolios that have been able to find profitable options in the different countries in which they have an active presence.
2014 then is a year in which business must continue to materialize and, in the same way, sowing the future, because the next harvest could be more fruitful and give better returns than until now.
