Open the mind, change habits

The Security industry has completely changed, in case you hadn't noticed, as they say, we can't expect different results by acting the same way. It's like having a map of Bogotá, when you're in Caracas, even if you're optimistic you won't reach your goals.

If you are aware of outdated processes or bad habits that are holding you back and that do not work for you, it is relatively easy to change them for ones that do work for you.

The problem is that most of your habits are so ingrained that most are invisible to you. Until you understand that it is holding you back, it will be difficult for you to change it. Change your life starts with a process of feedback and analysis

If your bad habits are so ingrained to the extent that you can't detect them, ask some people you admire and who know you well to analyze your bad habits and tell you about them.

It's a tough process and you'll need to keep an open mind, be honest and congruent with yourself if you're really looking to change, it's amazing how a small difference can make a big difference.

If seven out of ten people tell you that you do not know how to listen must be true, remember that the key to the sale is to listen, sometimes when we are experts in security, we think we have a lot of knowledge to say and little by little we forget the fundamentals of the sale.

As hard as it may seem to you at first remember that external behavior is reality unlike what one thinks of oneself which is normally an illusion, you will be amazed at what you are going to hear and that perception is the true reality.

If you decide to make profound changes in your person and you are open to receive feedback honestly with yourself by making a deep personal analysis. You'll be able to make quick adjustments, change bad habits, adopt new successful habits, and change your life. Getting everything you've always wanted.

Analyze your environment and your relationships
Analyze your environment, the people you live with every day, the people you frequent and those who greatly influence everything you do, bosses, family, friends, teachers etc.

The social pressure exerted by family, friends and co-workers among others, influences your beliefs in a positive or negative way. This can create bad habits. The old adage "Tell me who you are with and I will tell you who you are" today I can tell you that this is more real than we think and can affect us too much, if you are an eagle and you are with chickens you will act like chickens regardless of your abilities to fly.

Stay as far away as you can from negative environments and people who act as emotional toxic radiation grounds. If you do not move away from them you will begin to believe what these types of environments and people produce. You will begin to generate negative thoughts such as misery, poverty, tragedy and failure that will be imprinted on your subconscious generating bad habits, really this is the first step and you will be able to notice radical changes in your life.

Surround yourself with people with positive thinking and who are successful, to see a new world of success, opportunities and adventures that can change your life and lead you to achieve the personal success you crave, friend is that easy and if you see around you, those successful are with successful people in their environment.

If you discover that you come from an adverse social or family environment. Do not worry you can always make positive changes that lead you to change your life. Find a source of inspiration by reading the biographies of important people with great achievements, someone you can identify with.

Find a mentor or guide to help you change. commit to yourself and when you are ready the right people will appear in your life and help you. You just have to start.
