QNAP Security announced an agreement with LG, for its IP cameras to integrate with NVRs (Network Video Recorder) based on the Linux VioStor series. LG users will now be able to take advantage of the high-performance hardware platform with excellent data processing power, easy installation without the need for a PC, and data storage technology to establish a system with high reliability. The VioStor NVR offers E-map and multi-server monitoring, users can locate up to 128 IP cameras on a multi-layered digital map, receive instant alert notifications, and view the various IP cameras, simply by clicking on the camera icon. In addition, users can directly control and play videos and audio by connecting a compatible TV or widescreen monitor and connecting a USB mouse to the VioStor Pro series.
