Greater vigilance for Barranco
The protection systems that began to operate at the end of January 2010, record the events that occur in the boulevard of Barranco, the Plaza de Armas, the 14 de Enero park and the Raymondi park, in order to record robberies or distribution of drugs.
As explained by the Mayor of the district, the images of the cameras are transmitted to a control and monitoring center that will give the order to the serenazgo troops and the National Police when an event has been recorded.
The cameras, which can rotate 360 degrees, will monitor 24 hours a day and at night will use an infrared system.
