President of Pelco is now Executive VP of Schneider Electric
In this new role, Meyer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of his department, as well as reporting directly to Chris Curtis, president and CEO of Schneider Electric Buildings Business.
Regarding the appointment, Curtis commented that Dean has done an excellent job at Pelco and is confident that he will execute the growth program that is being had for the Buildings Business. "Pelco is an important part of this sector and with Dean's experience we will be able to take advantage of many opportunities to strengthen Pelco."
For his part, Meyer said he is very excited about the opportunity to help lead the organization, especially at a time when business and solutions are relevant to the global situation and need around energy and security. He also assured that these changes will not affect Pelco, since the company continues to be committed to its specialized sales channels, employees, products, among others.
