Axis Americas Directors Presented Brand Plans in Latin America

Mexico. Directors of Axis communications in the Americas were present in Mexico with the aim of meeting with partners and customers of the brand to publicize how the brand's solutions are adapting to the needs of the region.

With the visit of the executives, the main sectors that Axis aims at in Latin America were highlighted and how the necessary efforts are made to keep them always safe, guaranteeing their efficiency. "Latin America has some very relevant sectors to explore such as its smart cities, retail or banking. We are always looking to innovate with scalable solutions so they can continuously improve," said Fredrik Nilsson, Vice President of the Americas at Axis Communications.

The brand assured that its offer of network solutions that it has for the region is wide and at the forefront of technology, which is very important for the development that is taking place, despite the possible limitations that exist in terms of connectivity and infrastructure in the continent. Larry Newman, Senior Director of Sales, Americas, highlighted the importance of having scalable solutions to Latin American needs, "Latin America is a strategic region for us as a company, although it represents some challenges, the potential for development and use of new technologies in the region is immense".

The visit generated significant value at the business level and reinforced the opportunity to know first-hand the needs of customers, partners, integrators and associates. They highlighted how the solutions are helping to offer alternatives that go beyond an image or an audio, they provide analysis for effective decision making for security and business.

A differential factor highlighted by the executives in the visit is how Axis offers cutting-edge technology with diverse applicability and open platforms. An example of this are network video surveillance solutions that are useful, both in security issues and in the decision making of a company, thanks to the data that is collected and the use that can be given to the business which will allow its impulse.

For his part, Leopoldo Ruiz, Regional Director of Axis in Latin America, said: "Our solutions have the ARTPEC 8 chip, which is custom designed for network video, providing high quality images, enhanced security and powerful compression, and thanks to the fact that it is our own innovation allows us to have control in cybersecurity, delivering greater benefits to actionable information and security to our customers."

The executives also highlighted the commitment to sustainability and society in Latin America, starting with the environmental aspect. Axis solutions for the region are free of lead, one of the components that most generate environmental pollution and health effects. This concern for the environment and society is evidenced from the suppliers for the solutions since Axis ensures that they comply with the code of conduct based on the UN global compact.

Finally, the executives highlighted that more than 5,500 engineers work on product innovation that solve the demands of customers and different sectors to ensure security, transparency and efficiency in their commercial offer, and with which there is the opportunity to offer extended warranty on all their products thanks to the proven quality.
