International. The new DICE reported on the integration of Calypsa's false alarm filtering solution into its Matrix Interactive monitoring software.
Although the two companies offer video analytics, the integration provides monitoring hubs and integrators who are already using Calipsa's solution to add advanced, interactive video services from Matrix Interactive.
Thanks to an open and generic platform developed by the New DICE, the integration works with any monitoring automation software and is an opportunity to add value for monitoring centers or command centers in a corporate, educational or healthcare location.
Calypsa's video analytics software for video surveillance uses deep learning algorithms to filter out false alarms, caused by anything from a change in lighting to a spider web in the lens.
Matrix Interactive offers monitoring centers and command centers with a set of video event monitoring, surveillance and alarm notification for any video system, anywhere and anytime. The unified platform provides services such as video verification, remote surveillance, virtual guard tours, and virtual doorman, all using advanced video analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud event recording.
With the overabundance of recorded cameras and videos, the industry is seeing a further increase in video monitoring and by integrating Matrix Interactive with Calypsa, monitoring stations and command centers will have the opportunity to add a new level of security in monitoring.
For example, with Matrix Interactive's verified automated scheduled video tours, the platform analyzes, understands, and prioritizes real-time video streaming. If there is nothing during the tour, there is no need for the operator to intervene. The priority level determines whether the video is sent to an end user, a central station operator and/or simply recorded.
In addition, the Matrix platform offers a unique new feature, a quick multi-camera video search that can instantly search for an event through multiple cameras rather than one camera per camera.
Monitoring centers and command centers can start with the entry-level package with minimal investment that provides a return on investment in no time and then add more cameras, services, and modules when they're ready.
"The New DICE is a great undertaking to integrate with the Calypsa solution and offers us great potential in all the markets we serve. Matrix Interactive will strengthen our core offering, add additional features and further define our presence in central stations and command centers," said Brian Baker, Chief Revenue Officer of Calipsa.
"DICE continues to partner and integrate with the best solutions in the industry, and we are proud to partner with Calipsa," said Avi Lupo, co-chair of New DICE. "We spoke to many Calipsa customers who are very happy with Calipsa but were looking for a seamless integration with Matrix Interactive to take advantage of its advanced video features and services."
