International. Motorola Solutions has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Openpath Security Inc., a cloud-based mobile access control provider. The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Openpath is a company specialized in access control. It offers multi-factor authentication, enables a contactless entry experience, and can be easily scaled and managed due to its cloud-based architecture.

Businesses will have visibility into their hotspots 24/7 anywhere in the world and will be able to provide a frictionless tour experience enabled by a mobile app. This acquisition will enable Motorola Solutions to leverage its extensive footprint to support enterprise customers with an unparalleled security solution.
