International. From March 1 to 3, Milestone Systems will hold the 2021 version of its event for partners, customers and media, MIPS "Modeling the new future", which this time will be held completely virtually and free of charge.
MIPS will be held March 1-2 for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and March 2-3 for Asia-Pacific and Americas events.
With more than 2,000 registered attendees from around the world, the Milestone Integration Platforms Symposium (MIPS) is the event where the Milestone Systems community comes together to share knowledge, experiences, best practices and its latest innovations.
Due to the current global pandemic, this will be the first virtual edition of MIPS and also the first in which participation will be free. The company will look at how video technology is transforming business and society, and why video management systems are at the center of this change.
During the two days of the event, Milestone Systems will share inspiration from global innovation experts as well as company executives, and present examples of success stories and industry insights from the partners' perspective. Milestone Systems' newly appointed CEO Thomas Jensen will discuss how video technology has evolved beyond security and how they will work with their partners to embrace this transition.
Milestone's CTO and CSMO, Bjørn Skou Eilertsen and Kenneth Hune Petersen respectively, will discuss trends in macrotechnology, accelerated technology adoption in key industries, as well as the reasons that lead Milestone Systems to consider video technology to be the electricity of the twenty-first century.
The event will also provide a deep dive into topics such as the impact of video technology on city management, how video technology is improving every facet of transportation, and how computer vision and analytics are creating new opportunities in the retail industry for automation, personalization, and even combating Covid-19.
In addition, Milestone Systems will share knowledge about the latest possibilities of implementing its video management software, offer an exclusive introduction to the future direction of the company and present the launch of a new product.
"MIPS not only brings together Milestone Systems' global community of partners to discuss our vision for where we are going and how we can contribute to each other's success. This year, we will focus on how our technology is transforming the way we work and live, and how we can empower people to take full advantage of video technology, in security and beyond," said Milestone Systems CEO Thomas Jensen.
