International. Paxton launched a new installation application which has been designed as a centralized platform that gives installers and system administrators instant access to the key information they need to install and manage the brand's products and solutions.
Paxton CEO Adam Stroud explains, "There are certain things, like this pandemic, that happen outside of our direct control and, when possible, I think it's important to try to see the opportunity to do something new and different."
In addition to rolling out these major feature updates, Paxton added its new Paxton Installer app to its 2020 agenda. The easy-to-use pocket tool provides digital access to Paxton's knowledge base. Installers have convenient access to updated product specifications, technical documents, video installation instructions, and answers to many frequently asked questions directly on their mobile device.
Adam Stroud added: "At Paxton we are always looking for opportunities to improve the service and information we provide to our valued installers and their customers. To save them time and make their working lives more comfortable, we have invested in the development of the new Paxton Installer app."
To simplify the life of its installers on site, Paxton has designed the app's search function with a seamless experience in mind. Individual product information can be accessed in seconds through the in-app barcode scanner. Installers will also be able to call Paxton's expert technical support team directly and find a list of their local distributors to make sourcing products and getting installation tips quick and easy.
