If users are inside the Geo-fence, the events will be received and attended by a monitoring operator.
If, on the other hand, users are outside the boundary of the coverage area, the events will be self-processed.
When sending an event outside the control area, SmartPanics users will be able to display a message on their phone screen, indicating that it is outside the coverage limits and that therefore the members of their family or work group will be notified of the situation.
This new goodness that SoftGuard gives us is especially interesting in the use for citizen protection, where a Municipality will provide coverage and response with local police in its own geographical area, as well as on a smaller scale for private urbanizations, countries and universities.
