QNAP revealed a series of new features in Artificial Intelligence solutions

Mexico. QNAP presented a series of novelties during Expo Seguridad México. Regarding its software proposal for the implementation of security projects, the company launched QVR Pro version 1.2.1, a software designed for users with playback needs of recordings with more than 14 days through QVR Pro Client.

In addition to the included eight camera channels, business users can purchase QVR Pro Gold to take full advantage of advanced features. With this product, home users and small and medium-sized businesses will be able to study the possibility of acquiring unlimited playback or buy additional channels to expand monitoring channels.

Focused on the Healthcare vertical, QNAP launches MediQPACS, an application that transforms your QNAP NAS into a private PACS (Image Archiving and Communication System) server designed to help users securely back up DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) files, while enabling rapid viewing and complete management of medical images. MediQPACS offers healthcare facilities an economical alternative to their PACS server in the HIS (Hospital Information Systems) so you will enjoy additional availability 24/7, with centralized management and reliable storage of all DICOM files.

Storage
TS-2888X NAS: The TS-2888X is a NAS equipped with  AI (Artificial Intelligence) and optimized specifically for training AI models. Built with Intel Xeon W processors, which feature up to 18 cores, and a hybrid storage architecture optimized with external memory for workloads that require an IOPS-intensive level. The TS-2888X also supports the installation of 4 first-class video cards and runs QNAP's AI developer package "QuAI". In addition, the TS-2888X concentrates everything required for machine learning AI, significantly reducing latency, accelerating data transfer, and eliminating bottlenecks caused by network connectivity to accelerate the deployment of AI resources.

TS-2477XU-RP NAS: QNAP today completes the series product line by introducing the TS-2477XU-RP high-performance rackmount NAS. Powered by ultra-fast AMD Ryzen™ processors with up to 8 cores/16 threads, the TS-2477XU-RP provides optimal performance to meet the most demanding virtualization needs of enterprises.

The TS-2477XU-RP series is available with Ryzen 5 2600 or Ryzen 7 2700 processors, both demonstrating amazing processing power for versatile applications and scenarios (including desktop and server virtualization). Instant video transcoding/streaming and private cloud infrastructure). Four PCI Express (PCIe) slots are available, making it easy for users to expand NAS functionality with network adapters (40GbE, 10GBASE-T/NBASE-T™), USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) cards, M.2 SSDs, and video cards. The TS-2477XU-RP includes an 800W power supply (PSU) unit to support a video card that requires additional power.

TR-004: Among other official releases made at the show, is the TR-004, a storage expansion device that can be attached to a personal computer or NAS via USB 3.0 Type-C. The multipurpose TR-004 can be used to add storage space to a QNAP NAS, and becomes an intuitive, high-efficiency storage expansion option.

TR-002: In parallel, the brand also offers the TR-002 series version, which is the first expansion enclosure with 2-bay RAID hardware, which can be used as a solution to expand NAS storage and also as hardware storage type RAID for Windows, macOS, Linux and NAS computers. The TR-002 connects to the PC or NAS via USB 3.1 Gen.2 Type-C and offers a reliable storage solution for different user needs.

TDS-16489U R2 Also, the leading storage manufacturer, introduces the latest generation NAS TDS-16489U R2 that features dual Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v4, as well as not one, but two operating systems so that companies have the flexibility to implement the OS that fits their needs and goals. Users can leverage ZFS-based QES for efficient and reliable enterprise-grade storage for mission-critical tasks, or install QTS for virtual machine applications, diverse applications, and self-tiered storage.

QXG-25G2SF-CX4 NIC Cards: In terms of capacity scalability, QNAP launched the new QXG-25G2SF-CX4 NIC cards for 25 GbE network and QXG-10G2SF-CX4 for 10 GbE network, with dual port. With Mellanox ConnectX-4® Lx® SmartNICs, these cards can significantly boost file transfer speeds and also support iSER (iSCSI Extensions for RDMA) to optimize VMware virtualization. Both cards are PCIe Gen3 × 8 and can be installed on a Windows® or Linux® PC or a compatible QNAP NAS.

Backup and Replication: In Other Technologies: The leading provider of compute, networking, and storage solutions, it presents its "Snapshots" white paper, which focuses on QNAP snapshot implementations and snapshot-related features in QTS (the QNAP NAS operating system). The whitepaper aims to raise awareness of a key tool in disaster recovery planning to help users mitigate the risk of data loss in today's rapidly changing digital world.
