Latin America. Motorola Solutions announced the launch of the Si200 body camera, the latest addition to the company's digital evidence ecosystem. This wearable easily integrates with CommandCentral Vault, Motorola Solutions' digital evidence management software solution that allows law enforcement agencies to manage content efficiently and securely, from capturing evidence in the field to exchanging information between judicial agencies, all in one system.
The Si200 body camera is compact and lightweight; it captures video in high definition and offers additional advanced capabilities. Captured content is uploaded to the CommandCentral Vault platform, where it is synchronized to simplify the video tagging process, newsroom automation, video correlation with incident information in law enforcement records, and chain of custody maintenance for evidence management.
This ecosystem allows agencies to manage files, associate public safety workflows, and analyze digital evidence securely within a single, integrated platform. In addition, CommandCentral Vault allows you to obtain and manage digital evidence from different providers.
"Several companies offer digital evidence technology components, but without the ability to integrate with the workflow, these solutions often add even more work to law enforcement agencies, which are already very limited in personnel and time," said Dan Twohig, vice president of sales for Motorola Solutions' Enterprise Software unit. "We have created a unified portfolio that centralizes digital evidence, records and other multimedia content in one secure location."
The Si200 body camera and CommandCentral Vault are essential components of Motorola Solutions' consolidated digital evidence ecosystem, both now available in North America.
