The 24- and 48-port Long Range Power over Ethernet (PoLRE) switches provide Ethernet and PoE over a pair of cables, with a range greater than 365 m, enabling a single-pair UTP infrastructure to be transformed into a reliable, powered IP backbone.
These devices offer 10 Mb/s (symmetric full-duplex connection) and PoE through a single UTP pair, designed to support IP phones and other devices that comply with IEEE standards and do not present a degradation of speed at a greater distance.
PoLRE is one of the most energy-efficient switches on the market, consuming less than 17 watts of power to operate.
It can also operate in transparent mode as a bridge, enabling a plug-and-play deployment, or as a fully managed switch with features designed for the security industry.
