The new T130K4 Cable Test Kit for the VDV MapMaster 3.0 is a toolkit and accessories designed for Ethernet and coaxial network installers, contained in a durable plastic case.
Inside the box are the popular network mapping remotes (#1 - #12), as well as coaxial identification and mapping remotes (#1 - #8), along with cable adapters for different coaxial connectors. It also includes two RJ12 to RJ12 connection cables for testing voice cables, two 5-inch shielded connection cables, and one RJ45 clamp cable for measuring two wire cables.
In addition, the box features an EVA foam insert to hold all components in place, with additional spaces to store up to eight smart mapping remotes, which can be purchased separately.
The core component of the kit, the VDV MapMaster 3.0, is a device that combines continuity testing, mapping, tone generation and length measurement functions into a single, easy-to-use unit for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance for telecommunications, networks or coaxial cables.
