Latin America. Hanwha Techwin has appointed César Vivenes as the new commercial director for the Andean Region. Its main goal is to increase the market share of the brand in this area, composed of Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
To this end, it plans to be part of high-level projects in the areas of citizen security, banking, retail, manufacturing and defense.
Vivenes has nearly 21 years of experience in the commercial and marketing area in technology and security. This includes having worked as commercial director of the Security and Defense Division of the Amper Group, as well as commercial manager of Dahua in Colombia, as well as business development manager of Hikvision in the same country, where he has lived for seven years.
Precisely this systems engineer and graduate in administration, with postgraduate studies in marketing of the technology industry and strategic business management, was at the Hanwha stand at the last International Security Fair in Bogotá.
There he managed to witness how thousands of customers, from end users, value integrators and distributors came interested in working with the company "recognizing above all the very high level of manufacturing quality, the very high level of cybersecurity and the very high professional level that Hanwha Techwin has today", in the words of the new commercial director.
New team
For Caesar, however, Hanwha's main asset is people. And precisely with him new members have arrived to form a complete team in the Latin American region.
In Colombia, under his direction, there are two regional account managers: Edwin Pacheco, systems engineer with 18 years of experience in the sale of technological solutions in the corporate and retail segment in companies such as Hewlett Packard (HP) and Microsoft; on the other hand, Johnny Rangel, information technology professional with six years of experience in the commercial and marketing area, standing out in the promotion and marketing of electronic security solutions.
Hernando Chávez, Sales Application Engineer of the Andean Region, has also been linked with five years of experience in administration, support of IT infrastructures and networks in companies such as HP, Cisco and Lenovo.
Meanwhile, the new Director of Strategic Accounts for Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile is Jorge Vallejo, with 13 years of experience in the security market of the latter southern country, working with local and international companies that validate their knowledge in the field.
On the other hand, María Padilla is the new regional sales manager for Mexico. Maria has extensive experience in distribution within the security industry by participating in projects of data centers, structured cabling, CCTV systems, access control, coordination centers, command, control, communications and computing, monitoring centers and perimeter security.
