Mexico. With an approximate cost of 85 million dollars, the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, owned by the Playa Hotels & Resorts hotel chain, debuts with its opening in one of the most prestigious and exclusive locations in Cancun.
Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta took care of the hotel's contemporary design and gave it unique details created in Mexico by local artisans. Likewise, the resort offers different services through its bars, cafes, restaurants, spas, swimming pools and rest areas.
It has 547 rooms and suites that offer views of the sea and the lush gardens of the resort, all have a modern decoration and a complete dorma+kaba access control system, in order to protect the safety and belongings of the guests.
This is based on a Saflok 6000 system with Quantum RFID Messenger locks (ready for online communication), as well as a new solution called Secure Shift, which:
- Offers a detailed real-time approach to employee access,
- Manages online blocking without the need for a blocking communications backbone,
- Staff access rights and schedules are automatically updated as soon as they check attendance;
- Sends alerts or messages from staff when they record their entry or exit;
- Cancel individual or group cards remotely;
- Automatically deactivates staff cards at the time they check their departure;
- Generates alerts or notifications of the status of the lock.
