The addition of its advanced surveillance technology and experienced team strengthens Axis' state-of-the-art solution and further expands opportunities in the currently rapidly growing traffic analytics market.

Citilog is a privately held company with 30 employees, headquartered in Paris, France, and with offices in the US, Hong Kong and Spain. The company offers a suite of video analysis tools and sensors for the surveillance of the transport sector, such as automatic incident detection, data collection and intersection control. Its products improve road safety, limit risks and help reduce travel time. Axis and Citilog have worked together for several years, both in engineering and sales, to deliver integrated solutions to mutual customers.
Improving road safety and efficiency
Citilog's advanced video analytics products are used to identify traffic incidents in real time to help traffic management centers improve vehicle flow and shorten response times. In addition, Citilog offers solutions to analyze advanced traffic statistics and provide solutions for traffic lights and intersection control. Its products are used worldwide to monitor roads, tunnels, bridges and other infrastructure works, as well as urban transit operations. Alarms can be generated for incident and congestion detection, allowing operators to redirect traffic and adjust efficiency instantly.
