Colombia. There will be nine prisons in the country that will have closed circuit television to control the inmates.
The company EGC Colombia will be in charge of installing the closed circuit television in nine prisons in the country.
The agreement has a cost of more than $1,939 million (about US$1.1 million), will aim at the installation, assembly, testing, commissioning, warranty and preventive and corrective maintenance of closed circuit television with video and real-time control, involving active and passive equipment, with control and monitoring center, in order to support the internal and external security work of the prisons of Cómbita, Girardot, Buga, Sincelejo, Manizales, La Dorada, Calarcá, Pereira and Girón.
The award was made after an abbreviated selection process of lesser amount, with procedures of the state procurement, the proposals were reviewed in accordance with the stipulations of the specifications and the regulations in force and the company EGC Colombia was the successful bidder.
