Colombia. Physical, electronic and industrial security is an integral part of corporate acquisitions, and this was demonstrated in the 13th edition of the International Security Fair, E + S + S, where the 300 exhibitors and participating brands said they have increased their contacts and business for the public, private and international sectors.
The Latin American businessmen who were present at this event acquired security equipment: cameras controlled through internet protocols, access of people by biometric measurement of the fingerprint or iris of the eye, control of people and vehicles through mechanical barriers of electrical and electronic opening, fog cannons to prevent the action of criminals, etc.
Patricia Acosta Zuleta, director of E+ S+S, said that it is a High Tech event where people are convinced and feel confident by electronics, surveillance services and news to prevent fires, monitor children, older adults, avoid hacking systems and deter criminals.
Acosta Zuleta reported that in the three days of the fair the main world brands made their launches of novelties for all Latin America, and that the fair grew significantly, going from 7,500 meters2 in 2012, to 12,000 meters2 in 2013
Representatives of the security industry from Brazil, Canada, China, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Argentina, Taiwan, Spain, Uruguay, Colombia, Spain, the United Kingdom participated in the E+S+S+S.
Acosta Zuleta highlighted the excellence of the academic agenda, where exhibitors presented more than 60 conferences on topics related to physical, electronic, computer and industrial security, and forums on sustainable buildings, security against catastrophes in constructions and criminalistics, among others.
