Mexico. The topic "U.S. Resident Cards and Programs for Temporary Workers" will be addressed by Ismael Dykman, senior sales director for South America of the company HID Global Government ID Solutions, within the framework of the ExpoSeguridad Mexico 2012 fair to be held from April 24 to 26.
This conference will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at 4:30 p.m and will seek to talk about how the new identification programs are an opportunity for the security industry, as it is increasingly important to search for mechanisms to protect and secure the identity of the owner. In that sense, the U.S. Permanent Resident Credential is emerging as the gold standard for global identification programs.
"In this decade, we will see a growing number of projects that will demand multi-purpose, powerful, high-security identification credentials that work effectively at multiple additional levels, such as entering secure facilities, crossing borders faster, or accessing health and social services," Dykman explained.
The representative of HID Global also highlighted that as a result of the above, new generations of secure credentials are beginning to emerge that use technology such as integrated circuit (IC) chips, RFID and security optical means.
Dykman stressed that it is possible to combine the advantages of various individual technologies into one credential. "A mix of diverse technologies in custom combinations into a single credential brings greater security and value than any other multi-purpose solution or multi-credential. The identification credential is being transformed into a sophisticated network of government systems and functions," he said.
Finally, the official stressed that Latin America will have a preponderant role in the creation and implementation of national identification programs during the next decade, which represents an opportunity for all industry actors involved in this process.
