Fernando Tomasiello, GVI's international vice president of operations and sales, commented that "the agreement is a beneficial situation for both parties as they are market leaders in IP video software systems, while Samsung's solution was more hardware-oriented. The partnership allows us to enter projects that we could not attend until last year."
To comply with the requirements of the agreement, which had been under analysis for about six months, GVI hired new staff for its offices in the Caribbean, Colombia, Brazil and Mexico, officials who will be in charge exclusively of the specification of government and private projects, as well as training. "All of our offices are certified to assist, train and execute Verint projects," said Tomasiello.
