Mexico. The National Committee of the Latin American Security Association (ALAS by its acronym in Spanish) presented the task force that will accompany the organization's activities in 2024.
The team led by Carlos Martínez in the presidency announced in front of the media and other sectors of the sector what are the vision and the projects that will be carried out to advance in the professionalization of the industry, generate value for partners and promote collaboration with related organizations.
Likewise, a development plan was presented that includes the realization of nine coffee tables and two technological meetings, which will focus on the development and innovation of the industry through the participation of experts and allied brands.
Likewise, the Mexican committee confirmed the link of ALAS to the most important fairs in the industry, such as ISC West, Expo Seguridad México, ESS+ and the Symposium on Patrimonial Security, among others.
Training activities
ALAS Mexico will continue to develop training strategies in the country, through the ALAS Courses. During 2024, the initiative includes 14 pillars of the sector for the education and updating of professionals, the DC3 certificates, the expansion of the network of alliances and the promotion of a culture of preventive awareness of control, safety and sustainable thinking.
Currently, the ALAS Mexico Committee has 12 members and is accompanied by 2 advisory VPs in its task of strengthening the security industry in Mexico and the entire region.
