Mexico. After the commissioning of the Control, Command, Communications and Computing Center (C4) in Ciudad Valles, the mayors of the Huasteca region have shown interest in acquiring some 500 cameras to strengthen video surveillance in their localities.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security of the State of San Luis Potosí, the idea is that these new units will be monitored from the C4 and C5i2, in order to improve citizen security in the area.
"The municipalities have been connecting and this will benefit us with the cameras and detector rings that will complement the operational work of the State Civil Guard to increase efficiency and continue generating the conditions for national and foreign tourism", said the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of San Luis Potosí. Ángel González Castillo.
The C4 is a new strategic telecommunications and video surveillance operation center that includes 500 monitoring points and 26 new equipment for the identification of moving license plates.
In addition, the Control, Command, Communications and Computing Center (C4) covers an area of more than 4.537 square meters and has a base of operations of the State Civil Guard, heliport and modern spaces on two floors for administrative and citizen service offices in different areas.
